ป่าชายเลน เปรียบเสมือนอู่ข้าวอู่น้ำ

          ชาวประมงส่วนใหญ่เริ่มต้นกิจวัตรประจำวันด้วยการเก็บเกี่ยวทรัพยากรจากป่าชายเลน ไม่ว่าจะเป็น กุ้ง หอย ปู ปลา หรือสัตว์น้ำอื่นๆ พวกเขาสำนึกในคุณค่าของป่าชายเลนว่าเป็นโรงผลิตอาหารทะเลหรืออู่ข้าวอู่น้ำ ทำให้พวกเขามีอาหารดีๆ รับประทาน และแบ่งขายได้ตลอดชีวิตโดยไม่ต้องลงทุน
Mangrove Forest : as "THE  LAND OF ABUNDANCE"
        Most of the fishermen begin their daily activities gathering and harvesting natural resources from mangrove forest including shrimps, mollusks, crabs, fish etc. They recognize the value and the importance of mangrove forest ecosystems as the food production plant of the land of abundance which can be harvested sustainably throughout their lives without any investment.

การฟื้นฟูป่าชายเลนโดยธรรมชาติ

       การเริ่มต้นชีวิตใหม่ของป่าชายเลน ไม่จำเป็นต้องหาซื้อเมล็ดพันธุ์ หรือต้นกล้ามาปลูกแต่อย่างใด ด้วยกลไกการปรับตัวให้สามารถดำรงชีวิตอยู่ในสภาพแวดล้อมได้ เมล็ดลักษณะพิเศษของพืชป่าชายเลน เช่น โกงกาง เป็นฝักแหลมยาว เมื่อแก่จึงหล่นจากต้น และปักบนดินที่อ่อนนุ่ม พร้อมที่จะเจริญเติบโตเป็นต้นไม่ใหญ่ต่อไปโดยไม่ต้องพึ่งพามนุษย์
THE NATURAL REGENERATION OF MANGROVE FOREST
        For the regeneration of mangrove forest, it is not necessary to spend money buying seedlings or saplings. By nature, the mangrove seeds of the Rhisophora sp. are vigna sinensis. Once dropped from trees, the seeds can take root in muddy soil and grow up. Mangrove seeds can also float and be carried to other part of the forest by tides and sea currents.
